Balcony!!! Great location!!! High comfort level. Quiet. Only negative was the two flights of stairs. Would definitely stay here again!

rue Sainte-Catherine shopping out your door

This was a last minute booking as our travel plans had changed. I was happy to find this flat and the host provided a lot of answers to my questions prior to booking. I knew it was a 2nd floor walk up but if you have heavy luggage, you will feel every step up to the apartment. Being on a busy shopping street may be heaven to some but would not have been our first choice. It is, however, a good location to many different neighborhoods. It quiets down at night but you will be greeted by early delivery trucks and street cleaning. Also be prepared to coordinate a meeting with the host at the apartment at check-in and you have to sign a contract in French as well as provide a credit card as a deposit against damages. Having parking in a garage 10 min walk away was a bonus but also be prepared to have to return the pass to the apartment at check-out, which will add about 45 minutes to your departure schedule.
