The cottage was wonderfully equipped with everything we needed and all instructions were clear and easy to follow. We settled right in. My teenager loved the loft and having the cool windows. Iceland is a long way from home for us but we would come back in a heartbeat."

Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. Need cell phone access for getting to the property. We got to see northern lights while there so that was nice. Absolutely recommend staying here"

"We had a very nice stay overall. We arrived close to the cutoff checkin time of 11:00 pm and had called in advance that we might be late. The owner was very understanding and accommodating. One issue we had was when we tried to use the hot water in the room after we checked in, it wasn’t working both for the sink and the shower. We called the front desk about it and they said that we would have to wait until the next morning as the tank was out of hot water. Other than that, the room was clean. We had the room with the loft as there were 3 of us. The free breakfast included was a nice treat. "

"PHENOMENAL. My fiancé and I spent a magical night in this gorgeous hotel. We didn’t make use of the amenities despite them being a major selling point… we were too comfy and exhausted from a long day exploring and hiking. We will be very happy to come back in the future, however. The staff are beyond wonderful. Thank you!"
