"Lovely rooms in the main building. The hotel and spa is a little dated, but lovely staff, excellent spa treatments."

"One star for the lack of staff. Check in is done online and you are sent a key code to open doors. Not really an issue, except our door would unlock but the doorknob wouldn’t turn. Tried to contact someone through their website (the only contact offered) and never got a reply. We did eventually get into the room after about 10 minutes of entering the code. Was stressed that I would have nowhere to sleep but the small couch on the landing - for 3 people! The room was clean and they provided a bottle of sparkling (blah!) water. Towels were nice. No WiFi (or TV). We arrived at 6:30 pm and the town was closed up (April). Ended up finding some scraps at a minimart in the train station. (Not the hotel’s fault, just be aware). Easy walk from the train station. Beautiful scenery."

"Very clean and quiet apartment, friendly staff at check in. Great shower, comfortable bed and everything you need in the kitchen. We would definitely stay here again 🙂"

"The room was clean, modern and the electronic blackout shutters were appreciated. Check in and issue of electronic room keys was straightforward. The bistro downstairs was friendly and lively. It would be useful for the hotel to provide instructions on the lighting as the system was not very intuitive. The safe did not work - a small inconvenience. "
