Hyatt Place Medord was home for my sons and I & my brother and his family while we visited for a funeral. The check in process was flawless. The staff member who checked us in was even able to put my room and my brother's room on the same floor. The indoor pool was very nice. The water was warm and the kids played in there until they got all wrinkly. Breakfast was nice every morning. It wasn't the same items every day which was very nice. Everyone enjoyed the breakfast options. No complaints there. The only issue we did have during our visit was that the hotel did not have enough towels. Our rooms didn't have enough towels for everyone and the front desk didn't have any extra towels for us to use while in the pool. I reserved a room for 4 people and we had 3 body towels and 1 washcloth the whole 3 days we were there. Called the front desk to ask for more and never received them. Overall, our stay was nice. We would definitely stay here again, but we would bring our own washcloths next time.

When I checked in the desk clerk told me there was a $15 parking charge. I was staying 2 nights. He told me they would deduct the $15 and I would get $85 of the $100 deposit. That didn’t happen. When I checked out the clerk he said it was $15 per day. I explained that it was $15 a night. After that he didn’t respond just looked down at the computer and eventually handed me a receipt for the $30 charge. When I inquired again he said there was nothing he could do. Very deceptive practice. Also their shuttle was down. So he gave me a cab driver’s business card with his information for a kickback fee. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed.

Stayed for graduation and the staff were on their game! Welcome refreshments provided, lobby was decorated and well-staffed. Rooms could use an update, which appears they should be coming soon. We have stayed here before and will again, ideal location, walkable to restaurants in town.
