Nice cozy get away

We stayed here as it was down the street from a family cabin on Fishtrap lake. We spent most days over at the lake, but this house was very accommodating for 2 families to enjoy meals and sleep. Very large backyard, nice deck for morning coffee! Very close to downtown boulder junction!

Exactly what we needed

The location of this house, very close to Boulder Junction, was wonderful for our family. While we weren't there too much during the day in favor of lots of outdoor activities, it was great to come home to a comfortable place at night. The kitchen is well-appointed, especially in terms of dishes, bakeware, gadgets, etc. A full-size refrigerator and newer dishwasher are very convenient. Furniture throughout the house consists of worn cast-offs, but perfectly acceptable for an up-north cabin. Being 5 minutes from downtown Boulder Junction was great for easy grocery shopping, gas and a quick bite.

The home was very nice. It had absolutely everything you could want or need. Very accommodating. It was off the main road a couple miles. We saw albino deer out the window both days, along with a lot of other deer. Wildlife was amazing. It was close proximity to restaurants, bars and coffee shops. It was well equipped with cd’s, books for adults and kids and toys. I was only here for the week end to attend a wedding, but would certainly visit again during the summer months to do bike trails.

We had a lovely stay at this property! The house was clean and well-maintained, and the kitchen was impressively stocked with everything we needed for cooking and dining in.One thing to note: there was a slight smell of gas upon entering the house, which we noticed each time we came back in. It didn’t affect our stay, but it’s worth mentioning.The location was perfect—just the right distance to the Heart of the Valley bike trail, which made it super convenient for our daily rides.Check-in was a breeze, and the property managers were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely consider staying here again!

Convenient to Northwoods Attractions

This house was super convenient to the cute little village of Boulder Junction that has several excellent restaurants. We were there on family business but the bike trails were nearby and looked fantastic. With 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths we had plenty of space. There was a nice TV and a stellar DVD collection. The outdoor deck and fire pit were a nice add on. Place we clean and comfortable. WiFi good.
