Clean, compact, modern design with comfortable beds and good shower. The staff were friendly. Would have been a great stay if it wasn’t for the poor WiFi and dreadful coffee at breakfast.

Very clean and comfortable BUT we booked a twin bedded room but got 1 double bed but as we arrived after midnight due to a delayed flight there were no staff on reception

This was an unbelievably nice property, given the rather modest pictures on the website and the very competitive price (albeit in a "shoulder season" period). The staff greeted us warmly and made sure we knew our way around. We "signed up" for breakfast the next day based on their description of the offerings. Turns out that there were only several other people staying at the Lodge that evening. So, we were greeted the next morning with a "petite breakfast buffet' set up at our own table "reserved" for us. And, they had about everything you can think of (hot and cold) at our table. We were treated like royalty! The only problem was that we ate WAY too much! In any case, Hotel Camp Base Lodge was the highlight thus far of our 3 weeks in France!

It had a very cool bar and vibe in the evening. Breakfast wasn't great but still worth the price. There is a bus stop across from the garage to take you to the Funicular if you're headed to the slopes. Rooms were comfortable. We ran out of hot water in the morning. It's within walking distance to the train station/funicular - something like a 15 min walk. We had a challenge getting a taxi from the train station to the hotel at 9:30pm on a Friday. No ubers and no taxis at the stand but we did find someone eventually.

Fantastic hotel. Everything is brand new and the decor is really cool and most importantly spotless! The only downside was there was no full length mirror and also light over the sink mirror was a bit dim for applying make up but other than that it was perfect. A word of warning though, the showers are basically in the room with you so ok if you’re away with someone you’re happy to shower in front of but if you need privacy you may need to look elsewhere or for one of the more expensive rooms!

Some of the hotel staff are missing the human touch/customer excellence & need training. Their central reservation had overbooked the rooms so many families ended without the rooms they booked, faced much distress & inconvenience for the beginning of their holidays. Rooms are clean & the hotel bar/restaurant is great.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Wonderful views of the mountains and great location. It was a short trip to les arcs 1600. The room had a towel heater which was nice, as well as food included. The only downside was that the bathroom didn’t have a real door and the “door” it did have was see through, so there was definitely lack of privacy. Overall I had a wonderful stay and would recommend to others!
