This doesn’t promise to be luxury. It was a comfortable bed and a hot shower for the night. The owners were lovely and the servo across the road had great pizza. It wasn’t expensive but the in room facilities were great for the price.

The room was quite modern and very clean. The bed was comfortable. I liked the large TV, and the comfy lounge chair. The shower water was piping hot, and there was an effective exhaust fan. The shower also had a non-slip floor. A bit more bench space around the hand basin would have been useful. On the whole our stay was a pleasant experience, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Bourke.

It was a bit of a walk from the coach stop. If you intend to come to Bourke by coach, you should advise as such, or you might be locked out when security gates close in the early evening. Meanwhile, I liked the wall panels around my little room, which was pretty comfortable.
