Lovely place to spend a weekend in Bournemouth. Chose it for its proximity to Alum Chine beach. Having the pool was definitely a bonus and we made use of it every day. Breakfast was good too, nothing too fancy though. Good value for money!

Clean, tidy but dated

Nice hotel, slightly dated and kinda themed around an old cruise ship experience. Breakfast was good and it’s a clean place just needs a bit of modernisation

Great location just a short walk from the beach at Alum Chine. Nice family friendly facilities with bar with games room and indoor swimming pool. The only complaint was that the room was very stuffy and in the corridor it felt like the heating was on in the middle of summer. We opened a window and had the fan we found in the wardrobe running but it would’ve been quite unpleasant had we been there during a heatwave.

A return trip to the Riveria hotel fantastic location very close to Alum chine beach and Westbourne in the other direction. Rooms are extremely clean , nice fresh fluffy towels. We were fortunate to have a room with a balcony with wonderful sea views and of the Isle of Wight. Even a rainy stay wasn’t spoiled as lovely pool and hot tub so didn’t mind staying in. Looking forward already to our next stay lovely friendly staff too.

Riviera hotel Wow right from arriving the staff were all great, really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Great location only 5 minutes walk from the beach, room was super clean and tidy would recommend.

Fantastic value for money! Decor is very 80s . But who cares when there is a live pool, nice staff , clean rooms and very comfy bed! There was an eighties style isdue with hot water when we stayed . But again for such super low prices ..it was not a big problem!

The Perfect break

This was our third stay at the hotel in a year. We love it , it’s clean and comfortable and really near the lovely beaches of Poole and Bournemouth. The staff are really friendly and helpful . We will be back !

Great views, but...

Lovely sea view, but the room had an overpowering smell of cheap air freshener with something not quite right in the background. Maybe a previous guest was a smoker?

Great room with a terrace. Excellent breakfast. Bit disappointed to get a very expensive gin and tonic in a tumbler served by a barman yawning his head off. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel.
