Flake Day

Incredible house and location. My family couldn’t be more excited about how everything worked out. The property is quiet enough for adults in the evening and entertaining enough for the kids during the day. The family Lake day (weekend) was an absolute success! Thank you so much to the hosts, this is exactly what we were looking for.

Time and space away from the norm.

Stayed here for the OU/NU game and wish we came a day earlier to enjoy the property. It was peaceful and great for the kids to run around. Adults sat out on the back porch in the evening with beverages and sipped coffee in the morning. Loved it.

Hidden Gem

What a hidden gem in rural Nebraska! We were looking for a get away close to home and this was the perfect place for a peaceful mini-vacation. We spent a lot of time on the water or sitting on the deck enjoying the view. There were three friendly farm cats which we had fun interacting with. We will definitely keep this place in mind the next time we are in the market for a short get away!

The Good Life

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The views are incredible and the wrap around porch is perfect to take it all in. We were lucky that no one had rented the other unique rental on the property so we had all of the property to ourself! We canoed on the fishing lake (it’s not a swimming lake), we relaxed by the fire pit and we loved the baby sheep! The only thing I feel is important to note is the WiFi is not the greatest so I wouldn’t plan a working trip but it’s perfect to disconnect and relax!
