What a beautiful property in a fantastic location. Lovely, quiet area only 5 minutes drive from the main street of Bowral. Great rooms and plenty of room for all. Never have I stayed in a property that provides so many essentials. No need to bring extra toilet paper!

Groom’s wedding stay.

It was a lovely place for the groom’s extended family to stay for his wedding. The groomsmen used the master bedroom as their area to dress, which was perfect for them. The beautiful red autumn tree at the front was a gorgeous backdrop for many photos. The bedrooms and bed configuration was just right for our family. The house had everything you could ever need for such a stay. I’d recommend it!

Accommodation for Funeral

Our booking was for a funeral which was bittersweet as the property was so beautiful with all the comforts of home. Spacious and clean. Our dog loved the backyard as did we. What a gem in a quiet location. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Great place, shame about the 4pm check-in.

Great place but a 4pm check in is a bit late. We had to pay extra to check in earlier, or clean the place ourselves. That's right, if you want to check in at a normal time the owner asks if you want to clean the house yourself from the people before you. The uncertainty of the check-in was a real stress as we didn't know if we were going to miss our wedding or not. Everything worked out in the end, but i probably wouldn't book again. A real shame as the actual house is amazing.

Beautiful place in a wonderful suburb

The place was wonderful and have lots of entertainment options that keep group busy. Also backyatd is georgeous and well maintained. Really enjoyed our stay and love to come back.

We had an amazing stay at Stately Bowral Designer Home. We would highly recommend this house for big families or groups of friends. Clean and homely feel to the house. We will definitely consider staying here next time we are in Bowral.

House nice, Area nice, Owner nice

We were here for three nights for a wedding, sharing with our son and his family. The house is well stocked, roomy and swallowed us up. The 3yo put the trampoline to good use. Two points to comment on: The description says Free Wifi and Smart TV, but there is no mention that to watch Netflix or similar, one must use one's own data. This is not a simple matter for everyone, so imo should be stated. The other thing was the spa, which we were a bit casual about obviously, thinking that the description implied that it would just need time for heating up, if we wanted to use it. But when some of us did decide to use it, they found it to be empty and dry. We did later find a warning within the 25 page House Guide that we were given a link to, that the spa is not always in service, it comes with an additional facility fee if requested, and one weeks notice is required. But not everyone has their w'ends so well pre-planned, esp with a mixed age group, and I'm sure not everyone wades thru so much detail, so this too disappointed us. These two items were not deal breakers for us tho, we were comfortable and did enjoy our weekend, the Owner (and his Housekeeper) were easy to deal with and helpful, and we would happily stay there again if in the area.

Great value in a lovely area

8 middle aged golfers stayed and had a great time. Plenty of space, facilities well set up and clear and easy communication with the owners. Will be back for sure.

Bowral Beautiful

The house was everything we expected. Spacious, comfortable, lovely position. Well equipped with everything we required. Owner, Chris, was very accommodating with change of dates for booking due to Covid. Highlight was the beautiful spa which the owner made a special effort to have ready for us. It was beautiful and warm. Thanks Chris for everything and rest assured, we had the best time and we hope we can visit again. Thanks again.

Well appointed home perfect for larger groups

We enjoyed our stay, the home had everything we needed and more. We were a party of 8 and never felt crowded in. Chris is a generous host and very accommodating. We were pleased to have found a pet friendly home that welcomed our little crate trained pooch. Overall, was a perfect home away from home while we gathered in Bowral for a wedding and a wee family reunion.

Well stocked spacious home

Plenty of supplies, fully stocked kitchen, no need to bring anything. Great communication with owner prior to stay. Large rooms, plenty of extras here.
