Traditional osterias serve authentic Lombard cuisine while artisan workshops offer handcrafted goods. The warm honey-colored buildings and evening church bells create an atmosphere that truly transports you to another era.

Hotel Flaminia

Hotel Flaminia

8/10 Good
"The location was great - right on the water and close to the castle, shops and boat docks. It was over 100 degrees when we visited and the air conditioning in the room helped but couldn’t keep up with the heat. The room was comfortable but a little old and dusty. Overall we enjoyed our stay."

"We had a brilliant stay at Hotel Serenella. The location is ideal - you’re in the old town, next to the Lake, near the ferry terminal yet it’s tucked away nicely so it’s peaceful. The staff were excellent, super friendly, and there to help with anything you need. The hotel has its own private pier which is great to have to go for a dip during the hottest hours of the day!! "Really well located hotel just outside central Bergamo but only 10 minutes to central car parks. And 10 minutes drive to airport! Very helpful staff, and you have a shopping centre and spa attached to back of hotel. Car parking is easy in the underground car park with limited spaces. Right next to a small suburb train station as well. The area is still being developed but very quiet and clean. Worth paying a visit to the Rooftop Restaurant which is amazing (we had Sushi) and also nearby restaurant La Malga which is great for lunch with home cooked Italian food. Would definitely recommend and we will come back when in the area"
