The area is quiet, feels safe and great for star-gazing.Travelers who are not used to high altitudes may experience breathlessness or nausea on the first day - this was true for both people in our party. “From the moment we walked in, we can tell the cabin is well cared for. It's as advertised. If you know Brian Head, it's the perfect distance to either Giant Steps or the Navajo base. If there is snow you will need chains or 4 -wheel drive to get up the driveway. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, multiple coffee makers, filters and good pots and pans.
