The historical market town of Bridport is ½ mile away with its high street shops, supermarkets, vibrant twice weekly street market, carnival and torchlight procession, along with many other events thoughout the year offering plenty of local activities. Lyme Regis is a bustling seaside town, and the picturesque village of Charmouth is renowned for its famous fossil beach and fossil hunting. Further afield are the diverse attractions of Corfe Castle, Cerne Abbas and its chalk giant, Dorchester - the centre of Hardy’s Wessex, Swanage, Wareham and Weymouth.
