Cracking place to stay

3 of us stayed for one night with as a base for exploring local area. Location is perfect as in the Lanes right nest to shops etc . Well furnished quirky apartment & comfy. Would definitely stay again and have already recommended to family & friends.

This is a great place to stay a mere five minutes from the beach and lots of shops and places to eat nearby. The one thing to keep in mind is that its location is not quiet - there is a pub next door and a school opposite - but nowhere in this area is. Take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper and enjoy!

Property owner “ghosted us”

Having used Vrbo many times, we have generally had success finding a place and getting a reasonable experience. This experience was our worst to date. Truly horrible. The property manager did not provide instructions on how to get in, they did not provide contact information, they did not respond to our messages through Vrbo, we figured out the contact information for the property management company, who when called acted as if they had no knowledge of the property (useless). Being new to Brighton, this was very frustrating having had no responses and no bearings. Fortunately VBRO customer service took care of us (they answered the phone, tracked down details, also confirmed the property owner was not responsive and then found us a different place). Thank you VBRO for salvaging our stay in Brighton. Warning, avoid any listings offered by Birches on the Lanes in Brighton UK.

Perfect location in the lanes. Lovely little apartment with everything you need for a short stay. Friendly and very helpful host. Couldn’t fault it.
