A great place for a week on Straddie

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: we had a great stay despite 3 days of torrential rain ! Magnificent views from the property and very spacious and comfortable accomodation .Only thing lacking was a BBQ which is always great when on Holiday.

Old beach shack in need of an update

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A tired old beach house (albeit with a great view) in need of a decent spring clean, not to mention a check of the light bulbs as it seemed like every second one wasn't working

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is a great size for a larger family. The views from the balconies are amazing. The house itself is very outdated it could do with a good clean and dust. There are cobwebs in all the rooms. The window fittings and blinds are all really old. The blinds in one of the rooms are falling apart so much you can't actually open them which wouldn't be great in summer. There are no screens on the windows and no ceiling fans or air con so at night when you have the windows open there is bugs galore flying around. It would be terrible in summer. I think with a decent clean and some TLC it could be a great house.
