「Luxurious room! We splurged for the nicer room and wow! Wonderful staff, good beer selection. We needed to leave early the next morning so the chef packed us a picnic breakfast with lots of fruit, a blt sandwich, crackers and jams and cookies. Ate it on a hill overlooking a field of sheep and the town below. So memorable!」

「Check in could be improved. Arrived to a busy pub with customers waiting for service at the bar and no designated check in desk. Several staff just walked past us with our bags and no one acknowledged we were trying to check in for several minutes. The room was okay but not as shown on our booking confirmation - it was an attic room with very steep stairs and a not very safe landing area outside the door. The bathroom had been shoehorned in under a sloping ceiling - there was no shower, just...

「We stayed in room 9 and it was quaint and delightful. The room was perfect. The whole hotel is just beautifully put together. We had dinner and breakfast and the food was great! The staff were super friendly and helpful. All around it was an excellent experience. 100% recommend!」

「The Old Stocks was our favorite stay in the UK despite having stayed at many 5 star hotels. The outside patio is beautiful and relaxing. We loved our breakfast server who showed us a nest with baby doves. The avocado toast was incredible! The location is perfect for hitting all the shops in Stow and for visiting other towns. They have designed the hotel in a way where it has character and a funky modern style. Can’t recommend enough!」
