「The house was lovely- clean, great ocean views, all the amenities you need! Kayaking from the property was wonderful, but you need to watch the tide charts- you have a 2 hour window before high tide and 2 hours after high tide otherwise it would be very difficult to get in or out! There are rocks you need to climb over to get the kayaks in and out, but that is not uncommon. The only downside is the noise from the road! We found that you need to shut the windows in the Master Bedroom at night...

「The home was nice and cozy. It met all our needs, had a well stocked kitchen, linens and laundry. The rooms and bedding were setup nice and clean. Each room has a portable AC so we had to turn that on once we arrived to let the place cool down and air circulate. The location was about 25 minutes drive from Bar Harbor and usually 20-25 minutes away from our daily activities, but it worked out for us just fine.」

Property was very clean, instructions were very clear, communication was excellent, beds were very comfortable and clean, everything was in good working order, and the house is adorable. There were many nice things about this house and we would absolutely stay again if back in the area! 「We were delighted to find this large waterfront cottage near Acadia last minute. It was everything we could have hoped for: the entire property was immaculate, the house is spacious and has very comfortable beds, a lovely living room and dining room with large windows and sliding glass door out to a deck overlooking the harbor. Nick, the host, was responsive and friendly. An added bonus was that we could launch our kayak from the dock and our dog was welcome. We'd love to go back next year.」
