“Enjoyable third one night stay over recent years near to Christmas as a stopover to visit relatives in Oakham. Christmas trees and lights decorations looking good. Good view of Rutland Water and easy access to it through the gardens”

“Lovely hotel, attentive and friendly staff. Room was clean and very comfortable. We had the family suite which was amazing. Lacked coathangers but other than that it was fantastic. Breakfast was gorgeous and we ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was excellent. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to others.”

“The hotel is in a beautiful location by Rutland Water and there is easy access to a lovely walk beside the lake. Our room was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and we had a large bathroom with good quality towels and toiletries. However, the lighting in the room was very dim and this was not helped by the fact that the window looked out onto a wall. That said, breakfast was very good and there is ample parking. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.”

“Was a big scare when we reached the apartment and found out this was no one there for check in & no instruction sent before our arrival. In this remote location, the mobile connection is bad and I luckily able connected to WiFi in an indian Resturant. Found an old email thread, replied to it and luckily i received a Uk phone number to call for self check in instruction. Felt quite worried at the beginning with my wife and boys and about where we sleep . Not a good experience ”
