「This place is a basic motel, clean and serviceable for an overnight stay, but not very pleasant to hang out in. It does not look as nice as the photos online. The desk staff was friendly. The positives are that the location in Grass Valley is convenient and the price is very reasonable compared to many of the lodgings in the Grass Valley/Nevada City area.」

「I was pleasantly surprised by how plush and nice the bedding was. The staff who assisted me at check-in and check-out were very helpful. The room was fine and had all the expected things. My two less than perfect comments are about the TV signal (on the channel we watched) was regularly lagging, so that the signal/picture had to catch up to the broadcast. 「The stairs down were a little difficult but worth it totally. The cafe below took care of all of our food needs for the two days...they were great. The rooms were clean and comfortable...I would definitely stay there again!」
