L'accueil était poli sans être chaleureux, mais globalement le personnel de la réception et du petit déjeuner était aimable. La chambre était équipée d'air conditionné (appréciable par cette chaleur) et assez grande pour une personne, ce n'était pas le grand confort mais ok pour le prix. Par contre, la propreté est fortement à revoir ! À mon arrivée, j'ai retrouvé des dizaines de cheveux noirs et poils dans le lit et sur les oreillers. Pareil pour la baignoire, pleine de cheveux, sans compter la moquette douteuse et les touffes de cheveux par terre. C'était très flagrant, je n'ai pas dû inspecter pour trouver tout ça, donc impossible que le personnel ne l'ait pas vu. Sachant que je suis vite dégoûtée, c'était vraiment un enfer, je ne comprends absolument pas les avis positifs sur la propreté. Le petit déjeuner n'était pas très bon non plus, mais j'ai connu pire.

Das Hotel befindet sich in einer der angesagtesten Gegenden Bukarests. Sehr schöne Cafés und Bars direkt um die Ecke. Die Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig aber das wird durch die sehr gute Lage und das freundliche Personal wieder wettgemacht. Die touristische Altstadt ist ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt.

Bug bite and extremely strong air freshener

There was a strong nauseated room air freshener, it appeared trying to suppress room odor. The blanket and its cover also projected stronger freshener My wife body was bitten by something, maybe bugs and caused itchiness and red mark, when we checked the mattress there was no bed bugs but it can be under mattress which we did not bother to check Location was the only strong point of this hotel

Perfect location

Very good location, right in the heart of sector 1. It’s a block behind “Calea Victorei” which is like the Main Street with all the people and restaurants etc. would recommend this place this to others. Just be aware it’s a little dated and the bed kinda hard. It’s not the Marriott in LA, but you can’t beat the location.

Hotellin henkilökunta oli avuliasta. Aamupala on melko monipuolinen, ja siivous on sujuvaa. Hotelli sijaitsee todella viihtyisällä alueella, jossa on paljon erilaisia ravintoloita. Myös linja-autopysäkkejä on lähistöllä, mutta kävellenkään matka vanhaankaupunkiin ei ole mahdoton.

My first time to give a 2 stars. To be fair, it WAS great. I emailed to request some other services before I arrived. The staff was helpful and replied promptly. On arrival, the receptionist was attentive and briefed me on everything. The staff was polite and greeted you when you came back and left, probably they were trying to improve after some previous bad reviews. The location was perfect. The price was reasonable. But you only need to do one thing wrong to turn the 5 stars into 2 stars. The next morning after my first night, there was another receptionist. I told him that 'no need to clean my room' and my room number. I repeated it and he repeated the same. I confirmed and left. When I was back in my room that night, the cleaner did enter my room and cleaned it. I gave this same message to many hotels before and all worked well, except this one. I hated people touching my sleeping clothes. The most critical issue, all my personal towels were hanged on the rack close to the toilet bowl. I'm sure when the cleaner cleaned it, she/he should have accidentally touch my towels. Even cautious enough, when people flushed the toilet without covering the lid, my towels would be contaminated. I covered the lid every time after I used it, when I was back, it was uncovered. If I know there's cleaner coming, I usually put my towels away from the toilet. Btw, the hairdryer worked for around 10 sec and stopped. You've to wait for several minutes for it to work for 10 sec again.
