Total laut. Ein Executive Suite mit Richtung aller Fenster zur lauten Strasse - nicht akzeptabel. Viele Dienste die man Executive nennt sind nur zum Schein da. Es fehlt ein Konzept für Executive Gäste. Es fehlt Kommunikationssystem des Hotels - so habe ich statt einer Decke mehrere erhalten weil sich die Kollegen einfach nie abstimnen. Im Hotel fehlen klar definierte Prozesse. Dienste wie Priority Check-in oder Priority Check -out sind ein Witz weil sie keiner kennt. Generell: Als Gast einer Executive Suite total enttäuscht!!! Hätte mir was besseres vorgestellt.

The bed is awful and not flat... it was almost raised at both ends with a dip in the middle. We got shown an alternative room and it had the same issues.... The room has terrible connectivity with plug sockets in very inconvenient places. The air conditioning did not work, and the room was constantly hot; therefore, I was unable to sleep at night and never felt comfortable under the duvet. The room was relatively clean and sheets/towels were good quality. Wifi was good. I would not stay here again. Very dated and not value for money paid.

The property was gorgeous. Staff very friendly. Spa was wonderful. Two issues, on check in the lady at the front desk asked me several times for my name, then went to look where keys were already pre-programmed (I had to come back for room keys since the room was not available on original check in). She made my keys and I went on my way. Got to room and my brother in law was in there. As such, she gave me keys to the wrong room. Had to go down twice to get this corrected. Second issue, I was quoted by Expedia that my rate would be $501.96. Was charged $539.47

The hotel itself is beautiful. The breakfast was amazing. The staff were great. The hotel bar in the evening was a little understaffed so it took awhile to get drinks and our bill. Our room itself and our friend’s “suite” was a bit outdated. It definitely could use a refresh. The location was a ways away from the river and where the action is so be prepared to walk a mile or two or take the public transit to get there. But all in all, it was a pleasant stay and I wouldn’t shy away from recommending this hotel to anyone.

Fantastic hotel in the heart of the city. In the lead up to our stay we received a few welcoming and informative communications. The hotel is beautiful and spotless, the staff is friendly and helpfull and makes you feel welcome and valued. The spa and gym on site are a bonus. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a special birthday treat upon returning to our room in the evening. Thank you Corinthia Budapest for making our visit a memorable ons. We will defenitely be back.

The Corinthia Hotel is a classic five-star property — large, elegant, and full of old-world charm. Although some of the facilities are a bit dated and could use an update, it still offers excellent value for what you pay. Absolutely excellent hotel in pretty much every respect. A word of advice if you are thinking of upgrading room though. About a week prior to arriving you may receive an email from the hotel via 'Oaky', who are a third-party upselling provider used by many hotels, offering various upgrades (room type, bottle of wine in room etc.). We were being offered an upgrade to a Junior Suite for between 100 and 130 Euros extra per night (the price varying day by day as we got closer to arrival), with an upgrade to a Deluxe Suite usually about 30 Euros more than the Junior price at the time. I resisted, hoping that prices would drop l lot nearer to check-in time, but they didn't. When we arrived I asked at the desk about upgrade options, and was immediately told that we could upgrade to a Deluxe Suite (so better than Junior Suite) from the room type we already had booked for only 80 Euros extra per night, less than half the 170 Euro price that the Oaky system was offering at that very same moment, so we snapped it up! This price was shown to me on a pre-printed grid of upgrade options, so it wasn't a price being made up on the spot and is thus presumably available to all if you ask (subject to availability of course). Ignore Oaky then! Absolutely fabulous room with separate sitting room and 2 bathrooms! Great breakfast included with loads of options - best we have had in a hotel. The Spa was great, as was the Executive Lounge (included with Suites) when you want a quick snack.
