I was extremely pleased staying here. Fantastic location right at Plaza Dorego. Great restaurants and bars close by as well as the San Telmo Market. Hotel is very nice. Clean and practical rooms. Rooftop pool and gym. Nice breakfast. I would definitely stay again.

The staff at the onsite breakfast salon and dining room were all excellent. Milena is an out of this world pastry chef and Laura and Veronic are very capable and efficient. Our dining room servers went above and beyond at dinner time.

This hotel is an extremely unique section of San Telmo, located right within Plaza Dorrego where there is a constant market, Tango dancers, restaurants, and immediately around the corner for the San Telmo food market and several fantastic grill restaurants. I got the best steak in my life there. Unlike Palermo, which is a bit too touristy, San Telmo is awesome with an incredible mix of European cultures food and restaurants.

Very pretty hotel with a unique felling of boutique. Nice rooms and a beautiful swimming pool at rooftop! Also a great breakfast! The Museum of Belas Artes is just a short walking and the amazing San Telmo Market a few blocks way; great dinning offer all around. Charming place.

A wonderful quaint boutique hotel located on a public square that comes alive on the weekends with a street market and dancing - fabulous fun.

Awful experience from the moment we walk in to the room ,have to leave for another hotel as soon as possible.at least they are nice enough to agree we leave early without penalty.
The location is wonderful but do not expect the Hilton quality as this is more line motel with better restaurant.

Not cookie cutter for sure. Front Desk Staff was terrific and made us feel welcome to use facilities after checkout while we waited for late flight.

This hotel is right on the main square for the Sam Telmo Sunday market. They were even doing tango on Monday after the market. A tonne of dining options, really close to a number of sights. There is plenty to explore in Sam telmo alone but this location was convenient for drivers to access and take you elsewhere (outside of Sunday with the market - many streets in the area are closed to cars). So much to do. So much to see. This hotel is a great spot to base yourself

The Anselmo Hotel has the perfect location. It is situated in the middle of the old San Telmo district of Buenos Aires. The neighborhood is very lively all hours of the day with locals as well as visitors walking, talking, and enjoying the friendly and comfortable feel of the area. The hotel is at the footstep of Plaza Dorrego - a pulic square that has a daily crafts market, dining area, with live musical groups and tango dancers. It is also a block or so from the San Telmo Market which is full of shopping and dining options.
The hotel has a central location that allows visitors to walk to many sights or to take many transportation options such as buses, taxis, or booking Uber.
The hotel staff is very friendly, courteous, and willing to help as much as possible to resolve problems or issues. The is well kept and clean. The only problem or issue that we had was the lack of soundproofing - hearing neighbors doors slam shut or loud conversations.
It is located in an older, very simple working-class neighborhood with older buildings, broken sidewalks, and lots of local flare. But that is the charm of San Telmo and the Anselmo Hotel. We spent 4 days/3nights there that we truly enjoyed. We would recommend it to others.

Great Staff always there to help! Very good and safe area! Good food and markets! My favorite place to be in Buenos Aires! You can walk everywhere!!!
