“The Expedia did let us down this time as nothing about this accommodation was matched with the description on their website from the location; facilities in the room to the continental breakfast. The bathroom is tiny; no hot water and the shower didn’t work. The so called“continental breakfast” is the worst as you have no choice of anything. The cook brought to us a bowl of corn flakes with hot milk, a plate with a frankfurter sausage, some crumbled egg and a spoonful bake bean, 2 slices of……

“The hotel is conveniently located in the central CBD. Staff is always helpful. However, the hotel rooms can do with updates - I have stayed at the hotel a few times and I find the rooms have electric plugs coming off the walls, bulbs not working, wardrobes are old and now give off that old smell. I lived off my suitcase as I feared the transfer of the wardrobe smell to my clothes. Shower was draining very slowly until I notified reception, they promptly attended to it. Bedroom walls had smudges……
