The Meadow is a short drive from the main property and water front but it makes it more private which was what we were looking for. Sitting on the front or back porch we were able to observe lots of wild life and just relax. The people working were always friendly and helpful. The waterfront area was nice and not very busy while we were there. We had a great time and will definitely return in the future.

Beautiful property, ideal location, friendly & EASY service.

We have stayed many times at a neighboring property managed by the same company, but this was our first visit to this location. It was everything we hoped for and more. The home was clean, quiet, personal and comfortable. It felt like a home of good friends who had invited us to use their place. And the back porch in the morning was an unexpected bonus - bird feeders that swarmed with wildlife, marking a great way to start the day. I recommend this to anyone who will be in the area.

Especially Ellen and how she noticed a logistical problem with the cabin I booked and went above and beyond to remedy the situation. The beautiful home was enchanting and feeding the local wildlife resulted in a lovely watch party. We cannot wait to come back next summer! The only downfall was our stay was not long enough.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Meadow is a perfect place for a family to enjoy wildlife. Is very quiet and spacious indoors and out. Our family which included a physically challenged G'pa, two very young children and 3 other adults were comfortable and entertained. A deer feeder automatically set for twice a day was an unexpected attraction. Bird seed is available to bring feathery friends of various kinds within feet of the windows and back patio as well. The beds are very comfortable and there were plenty of supplies to make meals and snacks. Drawer space was plentiful in the bedrooms but only one closet open to hang items and very few hangers. We enjoyed playing corn hole (or bags as some know it), basketball and a campfire in the firepit right on the back patio. Since we were there for a family wedding, we were able to see many other Log Country Cove accommodations. Was impressed that each is so unique, spacious and well decorated to optimize use and enjoyment. We were also able to swim with the kids at another cabin which was also an added perk! The check-in process is pleasant and easy, coded access to property is great and staff are very nice and attentive to guest needs. We noticed a small wasp nest close to the front door and called to get it eliminated. Within 10 minutes a man arrived to take care of it and thoroughly checked all around the property. Minutes away from grocery shopping, lots of restaurants, golfing, hiking and Lake LBJ. You can't go wrong if you want to relax or recreate. Only 90 minutes from the airport too!Highly recommend the Log Country Cove for whatever family activity or event. The wedding venue was sooo perfect! A fantastic time was had by all.Thanks for the wonderful experience!!!
