Mark was a fantastic host! He reached out to us before the trip to confirm the route we were taking and help us out with activities to do around Burnsville. The view at the cabin was amazing and the cleanliness was next level!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mark's cabin in North Carolina. From the moment we arrived, Mark made us feel so welcome and at home. Communication was clear, friendly, and prompt, and every detail of the cabin showed how much care was put into making guests comfortable. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and perfect for a relaxing getaway with the spa jacuzzi. It had everything we needed and more, making it easy to unwind and truly enjoy the serene beauty that surrounds you at this cabin. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful honeymoon. The cabin was the perfect location- secluded and quiet but close to Burnsville and not a bad drive to Asheville. Mark had helpful suggestions for the area and was very responsive to any questions.

Mark is a top notch host. The stay was absolutely wonderful for my wife and I. Fantastic amenities, including the Hot Tub/Spa. Very secluded and a beautiful view of the mountains, with the town of Burnsville not far away, it makes it easy to commute back forth if needed. The beds were comfortable, the gas kitchen stove is wonderful, and the shower was nice and hot. Also, if you love wildlife, there's plenty of deer for your viewing pleasure. Would recommend 10/10.

We enjoyed our long weekend at this beautiful property, everything was perfect and as described in the listing. Mark is an incredibly accommodating host and very attentive to anything we could need or want. The view from the hot tub overlooking the meadow was astonishing, especially with all the deer and chipmunks we saw. I would definitely stay here again.

The cabin setting is on a beautiful mountain,surrounded by trees, the interior of the cabin is immaculate, bed was super comfortable, spa was amazing! Mark is a great host!if we had a question he always answered quickly. He really made us feel at home. We would definitely stay there again.

I had an amazing time! It was just what I wanted. Mark, the host, went above and beyond! I was so amazed at the service: the amenities, the peace, the quiet. The cabin has some great features, and a lot of care was put into my stay! 10 Stars! Wedding Anniversary Getaway

My wife and I visited 1108 Riddle Branch Road for the 3rd time and it was a very relaxing vacation. The cabin was very clean and the furnishings were extremely comfortable. The hot tub was so relaxing and the mountain views were spectacular! Our host, Mark, took us on a "restoration tour" of Burnsville in his UTV and it is amazing how much progress has been made by local, state and federal authorities on restoring the roadways and bridges. Thank you for another special getaway, Mark!

A perfect Stay- Mark Sets the Standard!!!

Mark, the owner of this incredible cabin, is truly a step above! From the very start, he went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. He personally reached out to understand our expectations, offering options for a guided trail hike at any distance we preferred or, if we desired complete privacy, he was more than happy to accommodate. His genuine dedication to making our experience exceptional really stood out.Beyond Mark’s outstanding hospitality, the cleanliness of this cabin was unmatched. Inside and out, it was the cleanest place we have ever stayed—immaculate in every way! Not a single bug in the windows, not a single cobweb or speck of dust—everything was spotless and meticulously maintained. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could need, the grill was perfectly cleaned and functioned flawlessly, and the spa area was simply breathtaking. Soaking in the hot tub with stunning mountain views was an absolute highlight, made even more special by the daily visits from three beautiful deer.This was truly an unforgettable stay, and we will absolutely be returning in the future. Best getaway spot ever!

This was the best stay I've ever had. The house and property are goegeous!! Mark was a wonderful host and clearly takes pride in sharing his property and giving folks a great experience. Peaceful

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at this cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. This was one of the nicest cabins we have rented. The kitchen was great. We had everything we needed. There were many surprising touches that made our time there very comfortable. The spa area was our favorite place. The hot tub was wonderful. And we saw approximately 10 deer walk by while on the porch and in the hot tub. Mark makes sure his guests have everything they could need. And he respected our privacy during our stay. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful trip.

Anniversary weekend

My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. The host Mark was very thorough in explaining how everything works and maintained communication throughout our stay to ensure everything was well and asked if we needed anything. The cabin was very clean and just as described. The hot tub was fantastic. We enjoyed sitting on the porch reading and relaxing with the mountains in the distance. The water feature was a nice touch for a relaxing experience. If you are looking for a nice couples cabin in the mountains this was a great choice.

Quiet Getaway, Just What We Needed

We were looking for a secluded getaway as a respite from our busiest time of year at work, and it didn't disappoint. We were greeted with warm hospitality and more essentials than I've ever had provided in another rental. The layout is secluded with scenic views but very drive-able to local trails/outposts/city for days you want to get out and explore. I'd highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy the nature and beauty western Carolina has to offer!

Perfect cabin to relax and unwind!

This adorable remote cabin sincerely exceeded our expectations. It actually felt like our home away from home. It was so clean, tastefully decorated, and we truly felt spoiled with all the brand new appliances. Mark, the property owner, did not cut any corners with this cabin. It is a beautiful place which allowed my boyfriend and I to break away from the stresses of daily life. The absolute perfect way to rejuvenate! I can't forget to mention the hot tub - I think we spent more time in the hot tub, than out! What a great way to celebrate my boyfriend's 50th birthday! He felt so spoiled! Mark - thank you for treating us like family. You are so thoughtful and personable. You definitely aim to please and made sure our vacation was perfect, and it was! Even with the close proximity, you respected our privacy and we knew you were just a phone call away if we needed anything. If we are ever in the area again, we will be definitely returning to this cabin.

Relaxing get away

Very clean and quiet. Mark was willing to be a guide and also picked up some sunscreen for me while he was out and about? I prefer using vbro to communicate but Mark is a phone call kinda guy. I was a little worried when I first saw he lived on the other side of the driveway but he did not come over unannounced which I appreciated.

Wedding Anniversary Getaway!

My wife and I returned to our favorite vacation cabin and enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing vacation. The cabin is very clean and nicely appointed and the luxurious hot tub was soothing after returning from hikes along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our host was amazing and made sure we were comfortable during our repeat visit. 3 deer visited us every evening and our host led me on a several mile hike of the Appalachian Trail! The views were breathtaking! Mark, thank you for helping create wonderful memories and we look forward to our next visit!

The Great Escape!

This cabin is a perfect place to escape life's chaos. We were able to relax and enjoy the tranquility and remoteness of the mountain. We enjoyed the Hot Tub Spa multiple times during our stay. We watched deer come by each evening to feed on the edge of the woods/meadow. Mark (the host), will walk you through every aspect of the cabin and it's amenities. Mark goes the extra mile to ensure you have everything you need during your stay. He takes great pride in his cabin and it shows! There are special touches throughout the cabin and decks. The Spa robes, towels and slippers are plush and provide a luxurious feel to the experience. Mark has put together a top of the line product for his guests and we appreciate his commitment to quality. Mark will also send you a quick check in text each morning to see if you need anything and to make sure you are satisfied. Mark is present if you need him, but also fully respects your privacy. Everything in the cabin is impeccably clean. I had a small spill on the kitchen floor our first night. I cleaned it up with the provided paper towels were they still white, showing no residue or dirtiness. The kitchen is well appointed and you will likely find everything you need. If you are looking for a place to unwind, relax an reconnect, this is a great place. If you bring enough provisions, you might not want to leave the cabin all! Thank you Mark for a great long weekend to celebrate the anniversary of my wife's "29th" birthday!

The perfect weekend away!

When we arrived at the cabin it was a brisk 29° day but that didn't stop Mark from meeting us at the road. He helped guide us up the driveway and helped unload our luggage to the cabin. The cabin itself is amazing, it has every amenity you could ask for. Mark checked in periodically throughout our stay, made sure we had everything we needed and that we were always comfortable. On the last day he helped us get the luggage loaded back, up through the snow, in the 6° weather. The only thing I would change about our trip would be a little less snow. We will definitely be back to experience more of what the area has to offer. Thank you Mark for making our trip amazing!

Great quiet getaway

This little cabin was perfect for me and my wife. It’s a little trek up the mountain but we actually preferred that as it gets you up and out of busy areas. The cabin itself was cozy,quiet, and very clean, Mr. Mark, the host, was available to show us how to work the spa and other appliances. In the mornings we were able to eat breakfast and watch deer out on the side yard. Overall we had a great experience.

Clean and So Quiet

This was one of the best vacation rentals we have ever rented. The house is very, very nice. It was spotless and very well-appointed. Mark was extremely friendly. We loved the hot tub!!! It was an excellent vacation, and we will definitely be coming back!!
