Take the time to visit the picturesque town of Bury St Edmunds with its famous abbey and great places to eat, drink and shop. The town also hosts a popular Christmas market in early December. National Trust properties nearby include Ickworth Park, Oxburgh Hall and Anglesey Abbey and Gardens. Newmarket is perfect for an exciting day at the races.
