“This old house which belonged to the Marquise has been renovated with great care, maintaining its character and charm. The grounds are beautiful and breakfast was wonderful with all the produce being of the highest. This is a family run hotel which is clearly a labour of love.”

“Unusual hotel very much in the traditional Spanish style, with quirky features such as old-style rotary light switches, rustic plasterwork etc. Welcoming hostess and good breakfast. Quiet and comfy room with great shower. Easy secure free parking and short walk to beach or village centre”

“The posada was so charming! Surrounded by farmland, everywhere you looked was beautiful. I recommend mosquito repellant in the summer. We didn't have any, so sleeping was hard, because the mosquitos bit us all night.”

“Wonderful alberque. Be prepared for a bit of a different experience. To help eliminate unwanted bed bugs, which hitch a ride on pilgrims bags, your gear is stored in lockers downstairs and a laundry basket provided to bring up what's needed. Your gear in the locker is secured by a key and another locker upstairs as well. The beds are made and the shower, sink, toilet ratio per person is excellent. The only "flaw" is no shaded area to wait before the 4pm open. You can sit on the grass in back,……
