Lake View Country Cabin at Bear Bluff Retreat

"Loved the view from this cabin! The hosts thought of everything. Loved they supplied good shampoo and Conditioner. The stores basket was so cute! Very sweet hosts and very accommodating. The air conditioner wasn't keeping up due to the heat wave and Curt brought over a window unit that worked perfect! Very appreciative of the fast response. Had binoculars to bird watch and the cabin was set up nicely. Have free laundry on site with detergent applied but we did not use them. There is a hiking trail on site, but we didn't get to try that due to being gone to Rock Island hiking. Definitely would stay again. Loved the detailed info in the Binder full of info. Also has a grill with propane free to use and wood for the fire pit were supplied. Would be perfect for the fall and cooler months! Hosts do live on site which we didn't realize but it was not an issue. Very nice and accommodating! We enjoyed our stay."

"The lake house was beautiful, clean and well maintained. The yard was fenced in with plenty of room for our dog to run and explore. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The hand written welcome letter when we arrived was a nice touch. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds zip around. It was a fun and relaxing week."
Lake View Adventure Cabin at Bear Bluff Retreat

"Nice and clean place with a great view up at the top of the bluff that drops off to the water below. Quiet out there and peaceful, you can hear many different birds especially early in the morning. A great place to wake up and go out on the deck to have coffee."
