"We stayed here 1 night for easy access to Nintendo Museum. Check in is 4pm and our reservation was 4.30, so we were worried it'd be a bit tight. We let the host know and the team were great at getting us checked in quickly and smoothly and set up for our museum trip. Honestly we're a bit sad we only stayed 1 night! There is plenty of room for more people but since there is only one shower you’ll need to make a schedule for bathing if you are bringing a larger group. Check in was a little confusing. "Loved this gem of a place! Our family of 4 stayed in a spacious triple room and it was beautifully laid out and very clean. It was our first time at an onsen so we were a bit nervous, but it’s worth the money and time because the hot spring is so relaxing and therapeutic. Plus the treats and breakfast are amazing! It’s also very convenient for food and shopping as its nearby Kyoto train station. If you want to experience the best in traditional Japanese hospitality and culture, this is the place for you and your whole family - even my teen daughters enjoyed the whole experience!"
