We don't know if this was done deliberately to prompt us to leave or if it was a coincidence. The hostal was very clean, and the room in good order and comfortable. The tapas when we arrived was superb and very well priced. The restaurant wasn't open in the evening but they opened especially for us and the other guest. I loved the breakfast particularly as there were many options for maintaining a low cholesterol healthy diet as well as the many other delicious but more cholesterol laden options. Good coffee is easy to find in Spain, but the coffee in the Avenida is excellent."
