"We had a nice stay but the area around seems dangerous based on all the electric wires and fences and gates on all properties in the area. Breakfast was good and staff friendly and helpful. Rooms was clean. No A/C but windows offer a breeze but there is plenty of noise. Door to the room seemed flimsy and hollow with no extra lock, just door knob lock."

"We have stayed at Steve’s and Nancy’s for two weeks and experienced their hospitality, friendliness and such a warmth. Loved the place : super comfortable, very private yet close enough to know the host is there when you need them. Steve and his helper rescued us from a very daring car trouble for which we were so grateful. We enjoyed the tranquility and spectacular views, jacuzzi on the huge terrace was awesome. We will go back next year."

"We stayed here one night just before leaving Costa Rica. The hotel is beautiful and has charm—from the hanging plants to the typewriters, calculators, and telephones in the lobby…it’s just a quaint hotel. We loved the lobby area as it had a variety of seating areas and they offer coffee, tea, water (hot and cold), and milk throughout the afternoon and evening. Our room was quiet and clean and comfortable…everything we needed for a great night’s sleep. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The property is very nice, comfortable and 24 hr gate security. No one can and will get past the entry gate if you are not a guest. Very quiet, clean and AC worked wonderfully 💯. The water went out a few times but this comes with the country happenings .. Staff very nice and helpful. You will need a car or UBER to move around. FYI driving in Costa Rica is a nightmare .. please consider your plans. I am a native but live in the US.. would definitely stay again . "
