“Only picky things to mention. The windows looked out onto reception so we had to keep the curtains closed all the time. The were a few marks in the cutlery draw. This is all very much outweighed by tge staff, cleanliness and comfort. Would definitely recommend. ”

“My husband and I stayed here while in Cádiz and loved it!!! Very cool hotel in the middle of old town. Room was very clean and there was access to a roof top terrace as well. The staff was very helpful and provided recommendations for restaurants. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if we ever find ourselves in Cádiz in the future!”

“The hotel is a historic mansion with the architectural elegance. The room is small. Although each room has a balcony, there is no view at all as it is located on an inner street. If you open the window, it will be quite noisy. Many restaurants nearby. The breakfast and the waiter service are great. I've sent an email to request for a room at the higher floor. No response from them at all, but I was given a room on the lowest floor when check in. ”

“There was mold on the walls that made us all sick, there was stains on the bedding for the pull out bed (slept on floor wrapped in a towel). I enjoyed how many things were usable (hair curler, wine opener, glasses) and the rest of the place wasn’t bad. But very disappointing and not fun to get sick on the trip. Still waiting on compensation response from the owner. ”

“This boutique hotel is conveniently located in the Cathedral square . You walk out the doors and a choice of restaurants and cafes are within steps ! The rooms although not huge are a good size with confortable beds and yes comfortable pillows too ! Loved the rooftop pool area that makes you feel even closer to the impressive Cathedral . The ocean front is steps away where you can enjoy long walks or bike rides or just people watching . This is a great hotel to stay in with shopping in the……

“Hotel Argantonio was the perfect place for our weekend trip to Cadiz. The hotel was very quaint, and the staff was very friendly. I would stay here again.”

“Big down is that the rooms are to noisy. The living room and one of the bedrooms are on first floor right above a very loud street. On a weekend the continues until early morning. Good luck to sleep”

“Very unique and quaint hotel in an older well maintained building- wonderfully located near restaurants, plazas and shopping. A 20 minute walk to train station and the Museum of Cádiz virtually a few hundred feet away. Bed comfortable, good shower and large room. Also a rooftop deck overlooking the Atlantic where you can order tapas and drinks. Would stay again.”
