Hotel du Mas de la Chapelle

10/10 Excellent

"My husband and I wanted to visit Arles and explore Provence at the same time. We chose this hotel because it was out in the countryside. It is a very safe, secure and charming setting with fields or sunflowers and rice! where the noise of the birds, crickets and frogs are audible day and night. The gardens are extensive and beautiful, very natural and relaxing…. Lovely nighttime strolls and daytime walks made it a feast for the senses, ancient and new seats everywhere to sit and absorb the ambience. The pool is well maintained and spacious with lots of seats and parasols if needed. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful with options for eggs if wanted. We were told to bring in our own food and drink if we wanted and utensils etc are provided onsite. Our room was spacious and very clean with a lovely new bathroom and shower en-suite. Overall, it made me understand why Van Gogh painted so many of his paintings of Arles and the countryside around it. We will definitely be back. A charming authentic p k ace to stay. Would highly recommend."

"The view overlooking the Ancient Roman Amphitheater is incredible! The restaurants within walking distance are amazing (too numerous to try all). The morning breakfast in the courtyard was lovely. I didn’t understand that children aren’t allowed to use the hotel spa and steam room. But otherwise had a great time. Also I don’t think I ever figured out how to use the French lock and key."

"Tout s'est bien passé, l'hébergement est super pour une réunion de famille ou autres... Très bien pensé, aménagé, grands espaces extérieurs, piscine agréable, table et chaises fournies en fonction du nombre d'invités, couchage pour 18 personnes. Serge est très disponible avant et pendant le séjour et trouve des solutions pour que notre séjour se passe le mieux possible.Seul petit ic qui peut faire peur en amont de la réservation c'est le long contrat de location mais après tout ce qui est arrivé à Serge comme mésaventures nous avons compris pourquoi.Bonne continuation.Laura"

"Absolutely perfect! They changed my room three times and we finally found perfection. They also gave me a kettle, hairdryer, complimentary coffee, croissant and madeleines. Very kind staff, great housekeeping and good location, with shops, supermarkets and restaurants walking distance."
