Really quaint Inn. Bedrooms were clean, quiet, well appointed as was the dining area and living spaces in the main house. We had the Cork room with adjoining private bathroom that I thought would be a deal breaker for my wife but she really enjoyed it . Plus the unofficial greeter cat Nana was super friendly. Coffee available at all times. Delicious breakfast delivered to our room, spinach quiche, sausage links, blueberry muffin, yogurt with fruit and OJ. We’ll be back for sure

We loved our stay at JPH. The room was very clean, large, perfectly decorated. The whole place was so cute. The welcome cookie was delicious. We opted for the breakfast in bed and it was excellent, don’t skip it! If you book your stay through a third party, it’s an extra $10 each for breakfast, worth it!! Easily walking distance to the beautiful nursery and Cambria Pines Lodge. We walked down to town for lunch and shopping, it was a little over a 1/2 mile. Walking back up was a bit rough but totally doable. The only snag was our code didn’t work when we got there to check in, I contacted the number on the door to let them know about my code and they texted pretty quick to give us an alternate code that worked. I will stay here again.

It's a beautiful place! Great spot for couples. (I was there by myself, but would love to come back NOT by myself.) One thing though: My room was so cold! I turned the wall heater on, but it didn't do as much as I'd hoped. Ended up going to bed wearing a sweatshirt, pants, and heavy socks. Apart from that, I truly enjoyed my stay.

Loved the chocolate chip cookies and quiet and green wooded area with connections to Cambria Pines Resort's restaurant, pool and spa! Cutely decorated although our toilet had difficulties flushing, we couldn't find the lighter for the fireplace and the 2 chairs' cushionings were so worn we dropped into the center dip and sat too low for the little table. They definitely need to be reupholstered for comfort. Overall, loved the experience and will return! :)

A very pretty property, very clean. Bed a bit uncomfortable & could hear everything in room above us. A pleasant stay for one night, beautiful clean room, would recommend.

Tucked away near downtown it had a unique decor. Bedrooms great. Downstairs lighting a bit dim and keurig-style coffee not wonderful. Breakfast basket of quiche, yogurt parfait, sausage, o.j. And muffin very thoughtful.

We loved our stay! The rooms were cozy and all have fireplaces. The bathroom was well stocked. The coffee was great in the room and breakfast was delicious and brought right to our door. The outside gardens were beautiful and loved sitting out there with a glass of wine.

Unfortunately, the J Patrick Inn is not what it used to be. I don’t know if it is an a corporation that purchased it from Linda, but there are no staff there and it’s now become an Airbnb. What used to be a wonderful breakfast in the morning in the main house is now a basket that has a cold quiche, some salami, a carton of orange juice that you couldn’t open up, and a cup of coffee! So sad to see what has happened to a beautiful place.

The room was adequate but no view worth speakning of. The breakfast was the samething every morning and cold. The bed was very comfortable. The room coffee was blah. It was across the street from the light show. We had tickets so walking there was very convienent. Everything was automated, no real human contact. I guess that coud be a pro or con :-)

Robot Inn

This inn isn't worth the money you might as well stay at a roadside hotel. Every interaction was via automated messages on WhatsApp, we didn't see a real human being. We arrived late and tried to contact someone about breakfast and were told our breakfast would be dropped off outside our room. It felt very impersonal, which was weird given it's an inn. We were also waken up in the middle of the night by a cat meowing to be let outside - perhaps the owner's cat? Not a super pleasant experience when you need rest. The room was very clean and comfortable but the overall experience didn't feel worth the price.
