We went half board ,meals were excellent as was breakfast. We relied a call 2nd morning from reception, we would like you to move to their sister hotel the Augustus across the road basically they were asking as they had lots of school kids for the next 5 days and the place would be loud . The room was incredibly clean on arrival and stayed that way throughout our stay of eleven nights. The one issue we had was with the drains on the final day, they smelt quite pungent. Hotel staff from arrival until our departure were fantastic, without exception. On arrival we were warmly greeted by the lovely receptionist on late duty on the 28/09. She knew we would be hungry given that we only arrived half hour before midnight and arranged us a picnic of sandwiches, fruit and cake, plus water and orange juice. The restaurant staff were very efficient and helpful. They were well lead by Stefan, who was always helpful and polite. Our only issue with the restaurant was that the food needed to be hotter. Even when being one of the first in to done the food was almost always cold. The breakfast wasn't really an issue as we usually just eat continental anyway. The evening meal just needs to be on hot Bain Marie's and it would be an improvement. Overall though at this price point it was good. My wife and I will stay again, the hotel is lovely the rooms are great. The staff 10/10 and a great location too. Bus stops outside the doors to Barcelona, Reus Town and the Airport, Tarragona (a must see) and to Cambrils too. Yes, overall a fantastic holiday in a fantastic hotel. The staff are a credit to the owners.
