Situated on the rugged North Cornwall coastline, this pretty holiday lodge provides a superb backdrop to your next adventure. Whether you're chasing sea views, ancient legends, or simply some quality time outdoors, there's plenty to keep everyone entertained. Lace up your walking boots and head straight for the South West Coast Path that follows the dramatic cliffs and unforgettable ocean views. Port Isaac (13 miles), known for its charming cottages and Doc Martin fame, makes for a lovely afternoon wander. Boscastle (6 miles) and Tintagel (7.5 miles) are also close by, with Tintagel Castle bringing King Arthur’s legends to life for children and grown-ups alike. Bodmin Moor is 2.5 miles away and boasts miles of wild, open countryside for family hikes to Brown Willy and Rough Tor. For water sports, Tamar Lakes (20 miles) is a hit with families, with everything from paddleboarding and kayaking to safe spots for picnics and nature walks.
Step inside the front door of this cosy wooden lodge into the inner porch, where you will encounter the heart of this stylish, single-level retreat. The comfortable open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area is designed with sociable living in mind, and it’s a great place to relax at the end of a day of touring. In the chic kitchen space, you will find everything you need to cook up a storm, with access to the garden and terrace areas. A handy dining table for four completes this area. From the main open-plan living room, doors lead to a restful contemporary king bedroom, a wonderful bunk room, and a sleek shower room.
Step out into the enclosed rear garden, where you will encounter a peaceful terrace with outdoor seating awaits with the sound of a stream trickling nearby – a lovely setting for morning coffees or unwinding in the evening sun. Private off-road parking for one car is included, making this an easy and convenient base for exploration of the local area.
