「Our oasis… while the other hotels along Camos Bay are on the loud main road through town, The Retreat is just enough above the road that you really only hear the ocean waves breaking on the shore or the birds in the gardens. We were so happy we picked this place instead of near the chaos. The staff were incredibly helpful and responsive and we ended us eating there most every night as the food was great and the outside dining area had the best ocean sunset views you could ask for. 「Yes it was a good temperature and clean. Some tiles had fallen off but overall it was great and the hot tub was warm, not hot but I still really enjoyed it. I loved the views and wish I could have been there longer during hotter weather to enjoy it more! 」

「Wonderful stay, at an ideal safe and quiet location only 10mins to the beach. Great value, and breakfast is even included in the price. Lovely host where nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are basic but bed is very comfortable with crisp linens. Soft towels and quality shampoo and body wash are provided. I’d definitely stay again without hesitation. 」
