"The staff was amazing! When we got to the hotel we were all wet and cold. They didn’ even make us officially check in. They opened our rooms so we could change and have them wash and dry our clothes. Gave us hot ‘agua dulce’ to warm up, and put logs in the chimney so we warmed up. Very family oriented, very very welcoming. The rooms were very clean and breakfast was delicious!"

"Great Location, welcoming host. Patrick had lots of ideas for places to visit. Baldi Hot Springs is the best in La Fortuna. Lots of room and a very eclectic collection of books and lots of interesting items. The weather was rainy and cloudy so we could not see Arenal, but the most spectacular rainbows. Breakfast every morning was delicious. Bill, the outdoor cat was very friendly and kept us safe..... :) Spectacular views of the lake when the sun peeked through. There is a magical lake up the road from the house. Overall, a great stay. Only thing that is going to cost me money when I get home, is a new mattress. They are firm, and for the first time ever, my back and hip didn't hurt at night!"
