“Avoid this one place. I never leave reviews, but if this helps one person it’s worth it. Our first room smelled like someone had a bunch of wet dogs in it, the clock didn’t work, and the tv speakers were blown. I thought it was a fluke and spoke with the gentleman at the front desk and asked for a new room; he moved us with no issue. But when we got to the new room is was a smoking room and we reserved a nonsmoking, not good when you have breathing difficulties. At this point it was midnight and……

“This is an absolute horrible place to stay. I've built goat houses nicer than this. Floor missing tiles. Sheets obviously hadn't been changed. Hairs on the pillow. Floor dirty. On the plus side, the AC worked”

“A wonderful stay in a quiet and beautiful location after the hubbub of Nashville. Dave was an impeccable host and would highly recommend staying at Butterfly Hollow.. just fantastic.”

“It was extremely humid and damp inside the room. The bedding was damp, the pillows were damp, the towels were damp; everything was damp, cold and clammy. Both beds were VERY uncomfortable. They were hard and I could feel and hear the springs grinding inside the mattress. There were 2 remote controls and neither one worked well. One was smissing the back of the battery compartment. Both remotes were sticky. There were holes in the shower wall and several other repaired holes in the walls……

“The Hampton Inn McMinnville was an excellent host for my stay there along with 20 or so others. The breakfast bar (included) was fantastic with a great selection and quantity to choose from. We reserved a meeting room close to the breakfast area to set up our own area to relax as a group with a buffet and bar for drinks. The staff and especially the night manager were extremely accommodating and responsive to our group needs. The only issue I encountered in my room (201) was the bathroom sink……

“It was a cut and dry stop, but the Non-Smoking room had a musty smoke smell as if it was at one point a smoking room. We aired out the room and slept fine but it took a bit to get used to the smell.”

“This hotel is dated and could use a freshening up. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included but needed some fruit.”
