A web of lies and deceit

Probably the worst experience one can imagine aside from the rental not being honoured at all.The advertisement stated the property had an elevator and a balcony. I even double checked this with the host who said yes.We arrive as a family with a baby and the apartment is on the 4th floor without an elevator.We had to climb 73 steps to get up there and surprise surprise, no balcony either.The positive review about a balcony was fake too and I presume all the other ones are as well.Tried over and over to contact the host and the property agent and everyone blamed each other and then complete silence and nothing was solved.73 steps up and down with a baby.Zero communication or help from anyone.Not only do I not recommend dealing with Checkmyguest or Belvilla make sure you check on Trustpilot before paying anything upfront and definitely check if they take a security deposit because one was sprung on us by surprise and I was very doubtful it would be returned, but it was.All in all it was a horrible experience.
