Beautiful home

Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Beautiful home but you aren't walking to the lake so that was the only downside.

Backyard Gem but needs maintenance

This is very nice property in a charming location. Pool and hot tub with lovely landscaped garden. Great for family getaway with pets. The home is just a bit dated and in need of maintenance in bathrooms, kitchen etc. Cleaning crew does not do a great job otherwise it would have been fabulous. Supplies in the kitchen is not adequate.

Beautiful and convenient

Check in was easy, location perfect for all things you want to see/do. Lake was low so unable to swim there but the house has everything you need to have a fun getaway. Will def book again.

Relaxing retreat

Given the weather kept us from enjoying the lake we had fun at the house. The pool kept the kids busy and the many sleeping arrangements allowed space. We plan to stay here again later in the year.

Wonderful getaway

The property was lovely. So much space a beds inside, kitchen was great. And the outside entertainment areas were phenomenal. Beds were comfortable. Definitely want to come back here again.

Great property but poor maintenance and management

Beautiful home and pool. BUT…Hot tub had June bugs. Patio wasnt swept or wiped down. Outside kitchen not maintained. Cornhole board rotted. Not enough pots and pans. No pot holders. Glasses and cups chipped and cracked. No games or cards. No welcome package or instructions. Not enough towels. Towels were cheap. Washing machine and coffee pot didnt work correctly. 1/2 bottle of hand soap in house. No laundry products. Not enough room in outside trash container for our trash as 6 bags of trash were already there. Could be wonderful property if a little care given.

The house is beautiful and the backyard with the pool makes it even better. We were close to the lake (5 min drive) and to shopping and restaurants.

TOO DIRTY AND POOR COMMUNICATION!

We arrived to find the property all full of dust, stained bedsheets, dirty countertops, stained table mats, electricity in one room was not working, the outdoor patio was not on its best cleanliness, the pool water was so cold and the fountain wasn’t working. It is a gorgeous house but just because it’s a bit old it seems that it’s been neglected, specially the landscaping. Proper housekeeping could have made a HUGE impact in our stay. It seems that this has been an issue for a while now, according to previous reviews, we decided to give it a shot since you would assume that the reviews were taken seriously. We contacted support and during the whole stay, property management failed to contact me directly. We had to figured it out self for the pool and the electricity issue.Lastly, there was pet hair everywhere, no pool towels, not a heated pool and kitchen did not have all essentials.We still had a great time and made the best out of it since the location of the property was quiet and peaceful.

Birthday gathering in Canyon Lake, Texas

Arrived at this beautiful home which was very clean and had plenty of pots/pans for cooking. The property was absolutely spectacular. I hope to return in the future, the bedrooms, bathrooms and living area all very clean and great size. The pool and backyard was just stunning. I cannot say how gorgeous this place was, you just have to see it. For sure will stay again!

Great amenities, beautiful Home, needs better Prop Mgmt

This home has fantastic potential, a beautiful pool and outdoor space, abundance of space. We loved the time outside, location, and size of the home. The owners should consider reevaluating their property management contract. I doubt they're aware of the lack of management that's actually occurring. The floors were not swept, the carpets were not vacuumed, there is an excessive HVAC exhaust onto the patio (doing it's job), but onto the tile that's caused a major slip hazard. It's been "solved" with a yoga mat and bathtub bat that were both covered in algae and mold. We finally pulled up both and used towels to soak up the water and add traction. HVAC Drip pan needs to be serviced and the drain needs to be piped out to the rock, not directly onto slick tile. The kitchen had 2 dishrags and a partial pots set that was broken. No mixing bowls/baking dishes/etc. Hallway HVAC filter was filthy and blocked with lint. Fridge filter needed to be changed, the water tasted slimy. The dishwasher was not mounted to the cabinetry so when you pull out a rack the whole machine comes out with it. The clothes washer is a front loader and needs to be maintenanced as such. The door/flange was full of mold and smelled rancid. Not all the beds had bedding and one bed that we did not use had visibly soiled sheets. Bathroom countertops were noticeably not cleaned, only dry wiped. We would absolutely stay again. This detailed notes is only because directly contacting owners isn't possible.

Great getaway for the weekend

Great for two but clearly large enough for a large family. Beautiful pool and sceneries to take in. Also enjoyed the jaccousi and outdoor tv, great for college football. Burn ban was in effect so we didn't take advantage of the fire pit but would have. Overall great stay. Masterbath took 5+min for water to heat up, but other than that, excellent.

Perfect weekend away in Central Texas!

I wanted to treat my husband and his brother to a special birthday weekend with our friends. The Hill Country Vibe was perfectly located for our group with everyone coming together from Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. The pool, hot tub, and charcoal grill, along with the outdoor dining and entertainment areas set the stage for a relaxing and celebratory weekend. The property manager was incredibly helpful and quick with communication whenever we had questions. With all the amenities, we didn’t want to leave, and can’t wait to go back!

Wedding trip

Stayed the weekend due to wedding near by. Family with a couple dogs. Love house layout & master bedroom perfect. Comfy bed & pillows. Pool was nice, but too cold for anybody to try. Clean & nice inside. Only issue we had was could not get either plug in master bathroom to work. GFI outlet would not even set. Acts like no power to them. Was a good trip

Beautiful backyard! Perfect for summer

Check in was easy house manager was quick with responding. Not much kitchen wear but was doable, they let us know to clean before we leave and that’s also doable with what the house had, dish soap and toilet paper no paper towels. For the price of the house I was confused with how little to no amenities. I believe they ask so much money because they have a beautiful backyard pool and jacuzzi. We all had such a great time! In a great location 3 minutes from the store so if the house doesn’t have something or you forget something it’s just down the road.

Perfect for family getaway

The moment we opened the front door we realized we had chosen the perfect house for our family. House was immaculate. Very nicely decorated and extremely spacious. When we saw the listing said it was about 1700sqft. we had our doubts but the layout is so spacious that we even had spare rooms. The pool and the outdoor kitchen were awesome, exactly what we were looking for. The spot for roasting marshmallows was a plus. The only thing we were displeased with was that the master bath did not have warm/hot water. We showered in cold water all three mornings. Other than that, everything about this stay was perfect!

Everything you need

We had plans to go to the lake, but the property was so awesome there was no need to leave! The pool is large and deep, I think about 6 feet. There is shaded and sunny spots to sit on the patio. The layout of the outdoors was perfect. The hot tub is elevated with a great view while sitting inside it. We had a group of three adult couples, no kids. There was plenty of room to sit and watch a movie after dark. The only bummer was we were not allowed to use the fireplace in the summer even though it was pouring rain. We also tripped a breaker by turning on the dryer, which knocked out the wifi, but the company called me back right away with how to fix the power. Great time overall.

Worse experience Vrbo .

It is an old property but you can have a clean property anyway , bathroom need update but the master bathroom shower it is very dirty, and in our arrival we have pictures of trash in the floor , it is cobwebs everywhere, the trash container was full , the patio is dark because only barely light work, just like 5 or 6 total . So we have to take out our own trash because the container in the bbq area was already full , when you open the rooms smell like humedy , the communication was good but I think someone have to supervise the cleaning before guests arrive, total this is my worse experience in Vrbo .
