「It was just great! Loved having the washer dryer, and lots of other small touches that made it extra nice. TV lost its feed and I received a message within 15 min how to try to fix it and it worked. Also liked the suggestions on what to do and where to go. Of course being on the water was perfect. 」

「The wee beastie house is one of my favourite stays of all time. The views, the bedrooms with ensuites, the well stocked kitchen, the yoga mats and a great host make this a top place to stay. Highly recommend and would come back in a heart beat. If you have the opportunity book it! 」

「Here are a few things that we would like to add: There was not enough shampoo, no saran wrap or foil paper, no tea or coffee, no curtains in patio door. Oven mitts should be replaced as one of the ladies got burned removing something from oven. Every place that we stayed had enough shampoo and all these items mentioned above.We would like to say thank you for letting us sign in at 3 pm instead of 4 pm which helped a lot.」

「We had the most wonderful stay at Gert and Gus’s place in Margaree Harbour! From the moment we arrived, they gave us such a lovely welcome and were incredibly helpful with suggestions for things to do in the area. The location couldn’t be better -perfect for exploring Cape Breton Highlands National Park and the many gorgeous local beaches (and there are so many to choose from!). We loved using the driving range and taking our morning walk to the river for a float/dip.The place is even better...

Catherine answered any questions we had in a timely manner. Lavender house was close to all the activities we wanted to do as well as shopping. Couldn’t ask for anything more!
