"We stayed at Tait House while travelling through on a road trip. It was such a nice treat with the large bathtub in our suite, bar and restaurant downstairs, and lovely common areas including the upstairs deck looking over the property. The staff was all very kind and helpful, they all showed a genuine interest in the guests and in sharing the history of the Tait House. After checking out we realized we left a garnment bag in the suite closet. We did have some difficulty reaching the front desk after checking out - the number online sends you to the corporate line not the hotel, and both calls we were helped by staff with some level of coldness.. or indifference may be the right word. The suit bag was located and the manger of the hotel made sure we were able to retrieve it on the way back through town. We will definitely return on future trips!"
