“Despite offering an amazing view on the lagoon, the deluxe villa we stayed in (304) was rather disappointing. It looks more as an apartment in a small building of four units than a villa. We could also hear our neighbours as there were communicating rooms simply separated by a door.”

En revanche le ménage n’a pas été correctement fait. Sol laissant à désirer (cheveux, saletés), ainsi qu’autour du lavabo. Petit déjeuner inclus, mais on nous présente un menu avec un ensemble de prestations payantes… Bol de fruits / céréales proposé et servi à table, en dose contingenté. “We stayed in Hoopoe Cottage. While I appreciate that Barton is under new ownership, our experience was disappointing. Before we even arrived, our booking had been incorrectly recorded for the wrong day (fortunately my husband phoned to confirm). We'd also arranged an early bag drop (no issue there) and were told the hot tub would be lit before our return from the Overberg Explorer. When we got back, there was no cot despite confirming one and the hot tub was ice cold because the fire had gone……
