“We had a great stay! The cabin was clean and had just enough space for our family. We absolutely loved the setting with frequent wildlife sightings and great spaces to relax and enjoy the mountain views. The host was attentive and checked in often to give inspiration for restaurants and activities nearby. Berkeley Springs is close enough to enjoy the town but far enough away to give you a true feeling of peace out in the woods. We loved our stay and are thankful to have found this little gem!”

“Could be a very nice home on the lake if more care was taken. Sort of a hodge-podge place with pieces of plooring missing, cabinets without handles, lots of cobwebs and a bit dirty overall. The bathroom was not good, the toilet water was brown and the water came out as a trickle in the sink. Bathroom needs a thorough clean. Nothing outside was properly stored, there was a paddle boat filled with dirt and rainwater that appeared to have been sitting there for quite a while. There were no……

“Nice location. Front storm door was missing a window. Turning on the heat was difficult as you had to get down on the floor to turn on, adjust temp and turn off the heat register which took awhile to find the dials. And had to use a flashlight to find. Difficult for anybody with a disability as for me I have back problems. Stairs to upstairs sleeping area were very narrow and I felt unsafe. The railing was not completely to the top of the stairs and I felt the railing was not safe. Railing……

“We are really dissatisfied with our stay at this house. While we did receive timely responses, the actual concerns were never addressed like the bathroom mats, trash bags. The dishwasher has been leaking. There were no bathroom mats and trash bags (broken trash can) provided. Despite reporting these issues on the first day, no one came to fix or check on them throughout our stay. We also experienced a hot water problem, which remained unresolved. Additionally, the dryer filter was not cleaned,……

“We had a great stay! We chose this cabin to help us escape from our busy life. The home is beautiful, designed with such care and unique finishes. The kitchen is well stocked with high quality cookware and appliances (there was even a large assortment of coffees, spices, sweeteners), the outdoor space is incredible, and the setting is gorgeous. We enjoyed watching squirrels and birds play in the oak trees throughout the property. Brett was an excellent host, he was great at communicating with us……
