“We booked a room for 2, but an extra twin bed was already there, so we are given a room for 3. The room is classic, clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning (but only Reception can adjust the temperature ) The wooden floor squeaks when stepped on . During our stay the elevator was out of order for a few hours, but quickly fixed. Breakfast is decent. Overall very one here is very nice .”

“My rooftop guestroom can access via escalator and it has a balcony with lake view. Walkable distance from the pier. ”

“Das Zimmer war sauber und großzügig. Das Frühstück frisch und ausreichend. Das Abendessen war hervorragend! Die Angestellten waren freundlich, aber nicht aufdringlich. Man hatte einen super atemberaubenden Blick auf den Luganer See und der Lago Maggiore war mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. Alles in allem ein gelungener Aufenthalt. Wir haben immer einen guten Parkplatz bekommen und die Auffahrt zum Hotel war zwar schon eher für geübte Fahrer, sollte jedoch für die Meisten kein Problem……

“We chose to spend a night here for our honeymoon. The hotel provides a very convenient—and free—shuttle service, which is incredibly thoughtful given that Varenna is a town nestled on a hillside. They can pick you up and drop off anytime from either the train station or the ferry pier ! The location is also perfect—right across from the church and just a short walk to the romantic lakeside path. Upon arrival, the staff greeted us with warm hospitality and pleasantly surprised us with a room……

“La proximité au Lac , au centre ville , a l'embarcadère, et surtout le petit plus la piscine a débordement sur le toit de l 'Hôtel avec vue imprenable sur le Lac entouré des montagnes.”

“Free breakfast was mainly bread and jam but free is free. Also free coffee. On top of a restaurant so expect noise until they close. Bit of a tough uphill walk back from waterfront but doable.”

“The location was awesome. It was immediately right outside the ferry station of lenno, as soon as you get our of the ferry. View from the front of the hotel was great. The room was clean but basic. The bathroom was clean. They provide 3 things in the minibar that is included in the price. A coke, a water can and carbonated water can. Its once for the stay. The breakfast was better than average. They had fresh squeezed orange juice (they actually had a machine right there). Nice fruits and……
