We looked at hotels in the area but due to the Fair, everything was overly priced and/or only hotels with poor reviews were available. 「Everything was absolutely fantastic! Anne is a wonderful host. Very kind, responsive, and proactive with communication. Her lake house is gorgeous. Beautifully renovated, it is an idyllic location. Amazing beach, stunning stone steps bordered by hydrangeas that were in full bloom. A truly delightful stay for my wife and I and our 3 kids. Thank you, Anne and family for generously sharing your part of Skaneateles Lake!」

「Rod and Carm were exceptional hosts! Very communicative, we got the run-down on where we’d be staying and all that would entail—their two dogs/greeters are so cute and friendly! Their property is beautiful and idyllic, a truly all-inclusive lake experience with kayaks and a dock, areas for dining on the deck or sitting and having coffee out on the dock over the water. The space where we stayed was clean and very comfortable for our stay—it had all the utilities we needed to accommodate our time...

「We arrived at 6 pm and the cleaning people were still there. The owner had forgotten our booking until I contacted him at 4 pm for check in instructions. We were not able to get inside before going to a concert. When we got back at 12 am, the cleaner had not locked the door and the other door was left open/ajar, in not the best neighborhood. The place itself was as described. 」

「My family and I were looking for a getaway not too far from home that was spacious enough for our family of five. The home was as described and definitely gave us that home away from home feeling. We enjoyed swimming by the lake, the fire pit and being able to watch the lake directly from the lovely sunroom. The owners were nice and available if needed. Would recommend! 」

「My family and I were so happy all week. The house is wonderful. We were all so impressed with how well you stock the house ( kitchen essentials, bath towels, beach towels, and firewood). 」

「Our visit was perfect! The house was very comfortable, and the lawn and porch were perfect to spend most of our time outside and for our kids to run around/be in the lake. It was great to have so many ways to enjoy the lake with kayaks, paddleboards, etc. Victoria was super helpful and so responsive to any question. Highly recommend this property!」
