The picturesque village of Carloforte is the only inhabited settlement on San Pietro, an island in the small Sulcis archipelago. The beaches near the village of Carloforte are the most famous on the island and vary greatly from one another: some are sandy, others are dotted with pebbles, and still others are rocky. The beach closest to the center of Carloforte is Il Giunco; another beach near the center is Guidi, a beach with fine sand interspersed with dark rocks. For those who prefer beaches with a mix of sand and gravel, the recommended beach is Spiaggia di Girin.

The island of San Pietro isn’t very large and can be explored by car in a single day. It’s therefore easy to reach each of its beaches from Carloforte. Along the island’s western coast are La Caletta Beach and Conca Beach, while along the southern coast, be sure to visit Chinolle Beach, Lucchese Beach, La Bobba Beach, and Guidi Beach. Other must-see beaches near Carloforte include: Punta Nera, Golfo del Becco, Calavinagra, and Golfo della Mezzaluna (the latter accessible only by sea). If you love scuba diving, don’t miss Punta delle Oche and Nasca—two caves in the north of the island that are ideal for divers.

- From Cagliari Elmas Mario Mameli Airport: you can reach the apartment via the CFCA round-trip shuttle service, which must be booked by phone and costs approximately 20 euros each way. The property is just a 5-minute walk from the port of Carloforte.



- DELCOMAR ferries depart from Portovesme and Calasetta, allowing you to reach the island of Carloforte in 40 and 30 minutes, respectively; From Portovesme, ferries to Carloforte depart only during the day and allow vehicles on board, while from Calasetta, the service operates both day and night. The port of Carloforte is just a 5-minute walk from the property.



- If you are traveling by car, you can park for free (NOT GUARANTEED) on the street near the property, or you can park on the street for a fee (blue-line parking).
