「Lovely guesthouse Great comfy bed. Lovely home cooked breakfast with good produce. We were attending a wedding at the nearby Wennington Hall and Kevin kindly dropped us off and picked us up at the end of the evening. He did not request any payment fir this but we did tip him, 」

「This property receives variable reviews across various platforms, great reviews and poor reviews alike seem a little unrealistic and the bad ones often ill founded. It is a old and tired property that reuqires a lot of work, the room was small but comfortable. There was a pervading smell of damp (not cooking oil as noted on other platforms) just like home!! wall paper and bathroom had clearly suffered in past. 「The staff could not have been more helpful. Hotel is in a beautiful place, just moments from the shoreline. The room was lovely and quirky and the breakfast was one of the best we have had on our travels. Thank you.」

「Lovely room, views spectacular, booked for Sat and Sun 2 nights Bed & Breakfast however was informed only on check in that there was no breakfast Monday morning as they are closed, dissapointed on Sunday to find all options for food on site where also closed by 6pm, there are pubs about 3 mile away in Middleham but after a couple of drinks during the day no option to drive there so left feeling somewhat hungry until next day to find somewhere for breakfast after checking out.
