Pelican Watch 806 | Oceanfront + Community Pool!

This beautiful oceanfront, eighth floor unit is in an elevator building, offers wireless internet & cable, and a large deck and panoramic view from the living area and master bedroom for your enjoyment during your stay. The fully equipped kitchen features beautiful white cabinets, glass tile backsplash, new appliances, and a wide kitchen counter for serving buffet style and extra seating, 12 cup coffee maker and k-cups as well. The living room has generous seating, a Flat screen TV and a sleeper sofa. All 3 bedrooms have flat-screen TVs and ceiling fans. The master bedroom has a new king bed; 2nd bedroom has a new queen bed; 3rd bedroom has 3 new twin beds, one of these is a Trundle bed! Located in center of Pleasure Island, close to shopping and restaurants, the complex has private beach access, an outdoor pool, indoor pool, hot tub and grilling area.

Please note: An HOA-operated security camera has been installed on the street-facing side of the building. This camera provides surveillance of the area in front of the complex.

The condo is very nice and the building overall was good. The pools were well maintained and busy. Overall very comfortable and we would recommend staying here. We did have an AC issue upon arrival and the condo management team took care of it quickly.

Room and rental great. Builsing not so much.

The building is quite outdated. You have to go up or down steps to get to the board walk to the beaxh, and then down more steps at the sand. Very difficult for beach wagons. Also, there's no access to or from the beach after 10pm. You have to walk arpund the building. The rental company, Carolina Retreats, was phenomenal. The room was really good, with a modern feel and has been remodeled.

Beautiful Condo

Condo was clean and beautifully decorated with a great view of the ocean . All the amenities you would need . The only downside of our stay was that the pool was not open . Stayed the first weekend in May so perhaps it was because it had not opened yet for the season ? Highly recommend this property .

Internet WiFi NON FUNCTIONAL so hope you have unlimited cell data can’t stream so no Netflix. for main tv easy fix $3 Ethernet cable from tv to router to bypass over crowded WiFi WiFi: ck setting change channels use 5.0 gz Do search fir improving WiFi reduce channel crowding and have dual band even TRI-band router allow guest on 5 ghz Front seating chair are terrible needs replaced non usable Twin beds big divots needs replaced my 17 couldn’t sleep NOW THE WONDERFUL Updated feel great usability of kitchen very well equipped kitchen great small features like the blue coffee cups w lids utensils very large refrigerator Indoor outdoor pool and shaded after noon and shaded porch for gorgeous view of beach LOVED THE TANKLESS WATER HEATER with doing laundry and family showering didn’t run out of hot water like other places I’ve stayed huge benefit ALSO corner of ocean blvd means quick easy access to bypass all the beach traffic very helpful Would we come back with the above fixes? OH YES

Long weekend getaway

Great location with a great ocean view from the 8th floor. A short walk to the ocean and a short drive to the stores. The unit is clean and spacious easily accommodating our group of 8 for the 5 nights that we were there.

Stunning condo with amazing view. The beds are nicer than some 5 star hotels I've stayed in. Smart home keyless entry feature is easy to operate and a welcome change from keeping up with keys.
